THE BRAVURAS BAND IS SELF SUFFICIENT AND WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE OUR OWN SOUND EQUIPMENT, LIGHTING, AND PERSONNEL.
Our niche is old school Blues Music. Including; original songs in the traditional style. Powerful vocals and guitar work are our calling card. We also cover Jimmy Rogers, Jimmy Reed, Willie Dixon, Leadbelly, Howling Wolf and others in this genre. We pride ourselves on a controlled sound with appropriate volume for any venue, indoor or out.

John "J. Bones" Puccio - Lead Vocalist, Songwriter. A familiar face on the New York City music scene, John Puccio has appeared at the Bitter End, Cafe Wha, Kenny's Castaways, Lone Star Cafe, Dan Lynches, to name a few. He has performed with musicians of every stripe including; Corky Laing, Odetta, Burning Spear, and Paul Butterfield. Puccio has fronted various bands including: Ruthless Bros., and J.Bones & Gooddaze. At New York City's renowned Lone Star Café, J.Bones & N.Y.C. Blues, opened for Albert Collins, Paul Butterfield Blues band, and James Cotton.
John P Hufford Sr. (Huff) - Guitarist, harmonica, vocals, songwriter. John is a versatile performer, filling many roles in the Band. He plays a solid rhythm guitar and a unique brand of harp work. John has performed at; the CPG, Lafayette Taproom, Cuzin's, and Pizza Plant. Huff is a specialist of the Old School Blues. He adds versions of songs by Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Jimmy Reed to The Bravuras arsenal.
Felix Mayer (Fee) - Lead Guitarist - Felix was lucky to be born into a very musical Family, both of his parents played in the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. He has played in local bands; Beginnings, Taxi, and "Rock N' Soul". Bringing his extensive technical skills, combined with a serious instinct for the Blues; Felix has happily directed his creative focus by becoming the lead guitarist of the Bravuras.
Ron Pepin - Drummer Ronnie has studied with Gus Store & Johnny Roland, (both of the BPO),& Louie Marino. Ronnie has performed with a host of local groups; most notable were "One Way Street", "National Trust" & Little Louis Band. Ron's Old School Style, expressive technique and strong back beat provides a solid rhythmic foundation that the rest of the Bravura's can lean on!
Bob Ginter -Bassist- A familiar face on the WNY Music scene. He has performed in various bands throughout the years including the "Soul 4" with the late Jimmy Wozniak, Rubber Band, Lance Diamond, Cory Wells, "Flying Blind" and "Big Tobacco". He has brought his smooth style and "fretless bass" technique to the band. |

The Girls were Dancin' like the floor was on fire. The BIKES were on the sidewalk. Tony Grisanti Joined us for the nite with a fine performance on the sax .... It as a good scene all around. This is a brand new club with great vibes. Nice and cool with AC. Great menu and service. The owners are super nice people with great respect for the customers and the musicians... It’s so nice to be treated well! It was like a Midsummer Nights Dream. Our next scheduled appearance there is: Saturday August 28, 2010 ; 9pm - 12am and again on Saturday September 25, 2010 same time.

 Jerry's Blues - NEW RELEASE...THE BRAVURAS... JERRY’S BLUES
The long awaited release of the BRAVURAS first CD has arrived. The CD entitled "Jerry's Blues: is dedicated in memory to Jerry Reen a charter member of The Rods & Customs Car Club of Buffalo. Jerry's untimely death fifteen years ago behind the wheel of the 34 Ford featured on the cover, the subsequent restoration of the car, and the man who now owns the car and keeps Jerry's old school philosophy alive is transformed into song by John Puccio on the title track # 13 on the CD.
